Still in its original paper box marked “Elsie Denney Honolulu Hawaii,” this charming doll is a true collector’s item. She’s wearing a beautiful hula girl getup including a handmade cloth top, shorts, a yellow paper lei, and a real grass skirt. The original box—backed with a pretty blue patterned cloth backdrop—includes a gorgeous red-and-gold Hawaiian dress with its own gold neck clasp on the back. Incredible detailing. Her neck and arms move, while her eyes open when standing straight.
*Interesting fact: All of the Elsie Denney, Inc. grass skirts were handwoven by the blind.
