This hard-to-find set screams 1960s aloha! It’s really one of my favorite sets in the shop. Siesta Ware was a well-known company in the midcentury days but what makes these so unique is that each tumbler has its own sleeve made of genuine mahogany that’s been printed with tropical motifs including pineapples, palm trees, outrigger canoes, fish, and hibiscus blooms. Each glass is frosted with a fun pastel color and wrapped with two gold-toned strips that hold the mahogany sleeves in place. Hand wash only.
Condition: Very good. Slight bubbling on the mahogany sleeve of the blue tumbler. Slight cracking along the vertical edge of the mahogany sleeve of one of the pink tumblers. No chips or cracks in the glass. The color is well-intact.
