A pink, blue, and yellow tie dye-style background is complete with illustrations of a surfer, hula dancer, hibiscus flowers, “The Pali,” hukilau nets, and more. The edges are lined with blue trim and a soft pink fringe. The backing is a solid pink fabric. The center features a poem to “To Mother and Dad.”
*These collectible pillow covers were produced as Hawaiian souvenirs for American soldiers and sailors serving in Hawaii in the 1940s and 1950s (pre-statehood). We’ve hunted down the best, most beautiful ones we can find and paired them with brand new (unused) pillow inserts. The bottom edge of each pillowcase is left open for easy stuffing.
Condition: The off-white fabric on the front has some yellow-ish aging spots. The bottom two corners have rips that can only be seen from the back. See photos.
