Although this plate was cracked and glued back together, it’s still such a special find. Haviland & Co. limoges is highly collectible and sought-after, especially when it’s an oyster plate with a beautiful design like this one—handpainted pink starbursts and gold-dipped edges. It’s marked “H & Co.” in dark green on the bottom, which—according to my research—indicates that it was made between 1888 - 1896. Wow wow wow!
Condition: The plate was cracked down the center and glued back together. You can see the dried glue along the crack (see photos). Chip on the side.
